100 Days at Sea Guide: How to Survive to Day 100

Updated 2026-09-02 · Roblox 100 Days At Sea

The short version: 100 Days at Sea is a Roblox raft-survival game by Stranded Devs. You start on a raft with a harpoon and hatchet, and the goal is to reach day 100. Days last 3 minutes, nights 1 minute 30 seconds, and after every night the day count rises by your day multiplier: x1 at the start, up to x12 from one-time sources, plus x1 for every clear of the corruption dungeon. Past day 100 a helicopter escape plays and everyone still in the server gets 20 pearls. The loop: harpoon floating wood and metal, feed the bonfire to unlock crafting tiers, loot islands, rescue survivors, survive special nights, kill bosses for multiplier, then run corruption. The first night is always a ghost pirate raid.

First 10 days plan

Think in bonfire levels rather than days. This follows the Fandom base-building advice.

  1. Before lighting the bonfire. The cycle starts only when the bonfire first reaches 100% (or when the pirate stronghold falls). Explore safely, harpoon every floating item, and put wood and metal in the crusher on the crafting table.
  2. Tier 1. Wooden floors (3 wood) extend the raft. Craft a cooking pot and the small shelter (+1 multiplier).
  3. Tier 2. Sundial for the day timer, radio to pin the nearest unrescued survivor.
  4. Fisherman's island, always about 50 m from base. Kill the two buku warriors, free the fisherman, take the dinghy from the hut chest. Put the shelter, sundial and map here on a floor so raids cannot break them.
  5. Radio towers. Three sit within sight of base. Press each transponder (no need to fight) to locate the small, big and huge rigs. Each rig's purple chest gives a container worth +1 multiplier.
  6. Tier 3 machines. Sawmills, crab traps, map radar, wrench, then a pizza oven.
  7. Survivors. Stephen needs no weapons. Madeline needs her cage key dragged over. Erik needs 8 ghost pirates killed, so bring a gun. Companions are a separate pet system.
  8. Fuel. Two pump jacks or one oil drill; survivors feed the bonfire to max. Wrench the fuel machines afterwards.
  9. Tier 4 magnets (30 metal, 10 wood, limit 2). Both magnets plus 2+ sawmills equals infinite everything except glue.
  10. Pirate islands. Free the three keys, clear the stronghold for +1 multiplier, 5 pearls, the ghost cutlass and the galleon bell.

How to read the day multiplier

Every finished night adds the multiplier to the day count. All gains are permanent for that game, except containers, which drop back if every copy of a type is broken.

SourceGainRepeatable
Each rescued survivor (3 per game)+1 eachNo
Each container type (shelter + 3 rig containers)+1 each, +4 totalNo
Pirate stronghold cleared+1No
All islands discovered+1No
Ancient squid boss+1No
Biome boss (King of the Snow or Lord of Lava)+1No
Corruptor slain+1Yes

Killing Greenbeard on the ghost galleon does not raise the multiplier but adds it to the day count at once. Details on day count.

Which class to pick first

Classes cost pearls in the lobby and are rated 1 to 6 stars. None has a debuff, but the Fandom advice is to save for a 6-star class, ideally Alien Overlord (starts with the UFO and Ray Gun) rather than buy a cheap one. Pearls come from badges, daily login (20 to 50 on some days), the day 100 escape and occasional codes. See the class tier list.

Common questions

  • Inventory on PC. The wiki describes an inventory and hotbar (weapons, ammo, chowder, potions) but not the key. Not documented yet.
  • Snorflord. A giant boar boss, 1,000 base HP, on its treasure island. Drops a chest with a pizza oven. See bosses.
  • Essence. Drops from non-boss entities in five colours; the main potion ingredient. It cannot enter the inventory, so use a sack or storage bin.
  • Oil drill. Tier 5, 20 metal, 35 wood, 5 glue. With survivors and wood, one drill maxes the bonfire.
  • Achievements. 61 badges as of the 15 August 2026 update, each redeemable once for pearls. Day 100 solo, duo, trio, 4 and 5 players each have one; player count is checked at the moment day 100 is reached.
  • Base ideas. Machines and food in base, containers on the fisherman's island, then a spike-trap lane (T5), kraken arms (T6) and autoturrets (T7) for late raids.

Survival tips

  • The Anglerfish hunts at night outside the bonfire's limit, and inside base if the bonfire is out.
  • Kraken tentacles delete any structure on the tile where they spawn; do not build right outside the bonfire's limits.
  • Melee stops being safe against ghost raids after the first two. Use guns or structures.
  • Bring about 15 seafood slices into the corruption dungeon. The UFO does not work in dungeons, so keep a boat.
  • The cargo ship holds the corruption portal. Death and healing: revive, medkit.
  • Map seeds repeat a layout; which seed is best is community-reported, unconfirmed.
